Enrolling 7th Grade for the 2026-27 School Year Now

ENROLL HERE

At Namahana School, haumāna (students) are mentored through their Personalized Learning Plans (PLP) both on-campus and off-campus in Ulu ʻĀina (field study) experiences in the community. They give maximum effort with a hiki nō (can do) attitude and are proactive in their interest-led academic and personal journey. Students will be with the same classmates and teacher for 2-3 years which we call an ʻOhana (advisory).

Makua (parents/caregivers) are engaged members of their childʻs learning plan. Parents/caregivers are in regular communication with kumu (teachers/advisors) and school staff, participating in their child’s quarterly learning plan meetings, and attending their child’s hōʻike (exhibitions of learning). They are members of the school community and lend their support to make the most of all students' experiences at Namahana.

At Namahana School, we do
not only enroll students; we enroll the entire ʻohana.
