Marion is a nonprofit consultant specializing in strategic planning, fund development, and program excellence. Previously, Marion was president of Kauaʻi Planning and Action Alliance (KPAA). KPAA's flagship program is Keiki to Career, an island-wide initiative to create great futures for all of Kauaʻi’s youth including the Kauai Resilience Project, a community partnership to prevent youth suicide. Marion is passionate about helping every young person find the path that is right for him or her.

Before joining KPAA, Marion served as executive director of San Diego Social Venture Partners, a philanthropic group that invests funds and expertise in innovative non-profits to help them achieve their mission.  As executive vice president of Junior Achievement San Diego, Marion spearheaded the capital campaign and built the program to create a 10,000 square foot mini-city called BizTown, where students learn how to run businesses and manage their money, as well as basic civics. Marion is active in the community, and enjoys hiking Kaua`i's beautiful trails and spending time with her family and friends.
