Blossom Novoa

As the Operations and Development Coordinator for Namahana Education Foundation, Blossom Novoa leverages her deep roots on Kauaʻi and her diverse professional background to support the growth of Namahana. Having personally lived through the long daily commute that North Shore students and families face to attend school, she deeply understands the urgent need for Namahana and is an advocate for providing a tuition-free, secondary education option for her community.

Born and raised in Kīlauea, Blossom’s upbringing instilled in her a profound connection to both the land and the community. Living on-island has taught her the vital importance of respecting, caring for, and continuously learning about the Hawaiian culture, traditions, and values that guide our island home. She attended Kīlauea Elementary School before continuing her education at Kapaʻa Middle and Kapaʻa High School, where she graduated as Valedictorian in 2021.

Since graduating, Blossom has explored a variety of professional paths that have honed her organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Her background includes three years as a personal assistant, as well as work as an interior design assistant and a property manager overseeing vacation rentals and residential homes on Kauaʻi. In her capacity at Namahana, she utilizes her ability to multitask, problem-solve, and collaborate with diverse individuals and families to advance the foundation’s mission.

Beyond her professional roles, Blossom assists in caring for a woman with dementia. This experience has deepened her compassion, patience, and understanding—qualities that guide both her personal and professional life. She feels grateful to live and work in the place she proudly calls home and is honored to contribute to a legacy of opportunity for future generations of North Shore keiki.
