Annalise Kindstedt Namahana School Teacher

Annalise was born and raised on the east coast of the United States in a multicultural, multigenerational family consisting of her maternal grandmother, parents, sister, and brother. After earning her B.S. in Biology, Anna moved to Hawaiʻi in the fall of 2022 to begin her role as an upper watershed field technician on the Alakaʻi plateau. She's had the privilege of continuing to work within the field of natural resource management and held positions with The Nature Conservancy, Mālama Loko Ea Foundation, and Hawai'i Land Trust where she developed a strong foundation in ʻāina education and sustainable stewardship practices. In her free time she enjoys surfing, diving, and paddling with her outrigger canoe club.
