April ‘26 Facilities Report

Here is a monthly check in on Namahana’s Permanent Campus Construction Progress:

Welcome Noho and Gordon: In February, we welcomed Kīlauea-based architecture firm Noho Workshop to oversee the buildout of the permanent campus (read more about that here). Then in March, we officially onboarded Gordon Karau as Director of Planning and Capital Projects to manage the campus construction (see more about him here).

Gordon Hits the Ground Running: In addition to Noho, he has brought on Devin Swanson of Kauaʻi Civil to lead the campus infrastructure. A family-owned business, Kauaʻi Civil bridges technical rigor with deep ʻāina-based, local roots.

Next Steps: Noho has been working closely with Namahana staff and aims to have schematics for the first phase of construction complete by June.
