Mahalo Pam Murphy for 6 Years of Service; Marion Paul to be Next Governing Board Chair
This month, Pam Murphy celebrated her retirement from her role as Chair of the Governing Board of Namahana School. Namahana’s staff and boards are deeply grateful for her six years of dedicated service and expertise.
“Serving in this role has been one of the greatest honors of my professional and personal life,” said Pam. “Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of working alongside such a dedicated, talented, and caring group of people. Together, we’ve have faced challenges, celebrated successes, and remained united in our mission to serve students and their families
through the opportunities our school provides for the North Shore. Though I am retiring from this role, I will always remain a strong supporter and advocate for our school and the remarkable community it serves.”
Assuming the role of Chair of the Governing Board is Marion Paul. A nonprofit consultant specializing in strategic planning, fund development, and program excellence, she’s served with various philanthropic groups throughout Kauaʻi and California, including president of the Kauaʻi Planning and Action Alliance (KPAA) and its flagship program Keiki to Career. Marion is passionate about helping every young person find the path that is right for them.
