Personal Learning Plans Developed for Each Student
As Namahana students begin Quarter 2, students, their families, and their kumu came together to create Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) for each student. These meetings are a special time to come together and reflect on the work and experiences of the prior quarter.
Every voice at the table brings essential insight. Our haumāna share their experiences, their learning, and their current interests and goals. Kumu contribute professional observations based on rigorous learning objectives and discuss the rich opportunities for learning available. And makua bring invaluable context and deep knowledge of their child's interests, strengths, and needs. Through this collaborative process, meaningful and relevant goals are co-developed for the upcoming term that honor each student's unique path.
Together, a learning plan is created that truly serves each student.
