TEAM SUBMITS PERMITS AND SCHEDULES GROUNDBREAKING

Hurricane Lowell was an opportunity to see our fully local construction team do what we envisioned: solve problems on the ground by leveraging historical roots and resources to keep momentum moving.

Permitting & Schedule
Despite a Category 2 hurricane, permits were submitted on time on September 14th and the project schedule was not delayed. Many thanks to Noho Workshop and SG Builders for great effort. Related, the recent County building fire has not slowed the permitting and planning teams.

Immediate Priorities
In the next three months, the building team will be evaluating campus resiliency measures, as well as finalizing construction documents and contracts before the holidays.

Timing
We are on track to start construction on schedule, and we will continue to raise funds as we build. We look forward to hosting our groundbreaking ceremony on December 18th and starting construction in January 2027.
